If they fixed that it would be fine I guess

It's a textbook. No way around that, but my biggest irritation with this book, is that it only showed you how to calculate something using a graphing calculator, which basically forces you to buy one. If they fixed that it would be fine I guess.

Best book in the world

I personally look back at the book for referance as how to calculate figures for projects that are coming up at work. I thought that the book had more valuable information in it, that was needed in the everyday of finance. It is worth more keeping the book than selling it. If you asked me what the "Net Present Value" was on this book. I estimated $1201.75 after I expensed the book from my cost of making a decision on whether to, or not to engaging in a project using the "Cost of Capital" method in chapter 10. And, because of it I made more money for myself.

Decent book for elasticity

I had to buy this book as the instructor suddenly changed the text that year only. This book is a decent introduction for elasticity. It is a first year graduate level book and introduces the topic of elasticity in a gentle manner. The one big problem with this book is that it has limited examples. However, it does solve several problems in linear elasticity and serves as a good reference material. It is a little too pricey. If not for my course, I would have definitely used some other text.

About the Author

Raymond Lacoste is a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor (CCSI) who has dedicated his IT career to teaching others. Starting out as a mentor at Skillsoft, he helped students with their studies, explaining various Cisco, Microsoft, and industry-related concepts in ways that improved the students understanding. However, it is not just about teaching, it is also about learning. To date, Raymond has passed more than 100 IT certification exams as he continues to keep his learning and knowledge up-to-date. His certification wall includes various Cisco certifications, Microsoft certifications, CompTIA certifications, and the ISC2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) designation. He was also awarded the Cisco Sirius Top Quality Instructor award. His next goal is to achieve the CCIE designation in Routing and Switching. Raymond lives in Atlantic, Canada, with his wife, Melanie, and two children.

Usha Kishore is an award winning, Indian born British poet and translator from the Sanskrit. Kishore's poetry has won prizes in UK and Irish poetry competitions, has been part of international projects, and features in the British Primary and Indian Middle School Syllabus. Kishore's first collection, On Manannan's Isle, won an Isle of Man Arts Council Award and a Culture Vannin Award and was published in the UK in 2014 by dpdotcom. Action, Adventure and Love- mixed so well!!

so this is book 4 of the Alpha and Omega series, it is the second half of book 3 of Trey and Sadie. if you are wondering about reading this book, I have to tell you, I have read a lot of shifter books, but this series truly made me fall in love. the way this author describes the love between these couples is so refreshing and strong. Yes, it's very sexy and adventurous- it will definitely make your toes curl in delight and keep you on the edge of your seat- but before you dive into this book, make sure you start at book one so you are caught up with what's going on.

some reviews I have seen on here are not impressed with the book, but trust me on this- read all four and I promise you will NOT be disappointed with the series. so just to give a quick summary without giving anything away... this book focuses on the second half of Tray and Sadie from "Vampire Mine" as well as leads into other relationships, this book is really the meat of Trey and Sadie's story. The suspense really paves the way for the next book, making you really involved and get close to a new destined couple. this book makes you feel what they feel, making you submerged in with the characters, and making you want more.. this book is a teaser to what's to come, and I am soo excited to see the fruits of this labor that will generate as a result of this book.

the thing I love most about this author is that she makes the characters so raw and real. she also has this way of drawing you into these characters and their relationships. Each character is unique and unforgettable, even now when I read other shifter books, I find myself constantly comparing them to how this series has made me feel. you really do fall in love, because of this particular series, I have read all of her other books and have found my new diamond in the rough... I am sooooo happy I ran into this author's books, and I am a reader of hers for life!

Loooooved it!

So this one picks up from Vampire Mine. Trey & Sadie are both settling in as Alpha & Lupa of the pack but the danger hasn't gone away yet. It's everywhere now. They don't know who to trust. Aline Hunter definitely had me at the edge of my seat, flipping pages trying to find out what's going to happen next!! All the characters (and new ones) are all present in this book. They all have important roles..aside from Emory & Mary, I felt like they were just there. Diskant is the a-hole he's always been but Ava has become the character I liked again from before Vampire Mine. Leah finally grew a backbone. Nathan..poor Nathan. We're finally seeing who Aldon Frost really is. I felt like his bride was the annoying version of Leah before. Hopefully that turns around when we get to Aldon's book. Oh and then there are his brothers! Cade..OMG..has Cade found love again?? I was never a fan of books with multiple storylines & different POV from supporting characters but Aline has made it work so well together. I can't wait for the next one. Please hurry!! LoL

Absolutely Amazing!!

If I could give this book more stars I would. This series is fantastic! I am already impatiently awaiting the next book. I like that while it follows up with the characters we already know and love, it brings into focus characters that were in the background and gives them depth and their own stories. I truly cannot think of anything I would change about these books. The plot, characters and writing are impeccable. Not to mention the sex scenes are unbelievably HOT. You definitely need to start at the beginning with Omega Mine. You will NOT be disappointed. Well done Ms. Hunter!!
