... class and I have to say this is the worst textbook I've ever encountered

Required text for class and I have to say this is the worst textbook I've ever encountered. The language (vocabulary) in which its written makes it inaccessible to truly obtain knowledge. If my professor, or for that matter author, was intending for one to obtain insight from this text- they totally missed the mark. if I could rate it with less than a star, I would.
