Love letter to handicapped sons by a loving father

This was a somewhat unusual small book - made up of short vignettes about the author's two handicapped sons. It was billed as a "love letter", but was more and less than that - often deviating into somewhat severe views of his sons' handicaps. Not sure the author really knew what he wanted the book to be. Nevertheless, it was worth the read.

A funny book about a very serious subject

This is a fast read; the French is easy, except for the slang. Fournier takes an unconventional approach to life and bares his soul with wit and honesty.
